System requirements
What Chromalith needs to run.

| Photoshop | Photoshop 2026 (27.2) or later, installed through Creative Cloud |
| Operating system | Windows, or macOS on Apple silicon or Intel, at a version Photoshop 2026 supports |
| Internet | Required to purchase and activate. After that, a license renewal about once a week, with seven days of offline grace. |
| Memory | Large prints at 300 DPI produce large documents. A 16 in print height at 300 DPI is 4800 pixels tall before Chromalith adds its preview documents, so follow Adobe's memory guidance for Photoshop. |
| Artwork | Any document Photoshop can open. Transparent PNG or layered PSD is typical for DTF. |
Chromalith runs entirely on your computer. Its separation engine runs inside Photoshop, so performance follows your CPU and memory, not your internet connection.
